From installed to audit-ready
Four walkthroughs, in the order you will actually do them. Each one takes you end to end through a real piece of work rather than listing what a screen contains.
Somebody who has been handed responsibility for AI governance and has not done it before. You do not need to have read ISO/IEC 42001 or the EU AI Act — the app carries the structure, and the guide explains what each step is for.
Getting started
Install it, name your organisation, and give the right people access. About fifteen minutes, once.
Build the register and classify
List every AI system you build or use, then work out what the EU AI Act asks of each one.
Close the gaps
Work the 65 ISO/IEC 42001 controls: set a status, name an owner, attach the evidence that proves it.
Prove it
Score your readiness, generate the document pack, and hand an auditor something they can read.
The shape of the work
AI governance is not a project with an end. What the app is trying to give you is a place where the current position is always true, so that the question "where are we?" takes a minute rather than a fortnight.
- Know what you run. The register. Without it nothing else means anything.
- Know what the law asks of each one. Classification, per system.
- Know what the standard asks of you. The gap tracker, across the organisation.
- Be able to prove it. Evidence attached to controls.
- Be able to hand it over. Documents, generated, versioned.
Steps 1 and 2 are the ones people skip, and they are the ones every later step depends on.
